Exports Shipments Only

We are pleased to announce that we have simplified our Security Seal Program to make it easier for customers to secure cargo being shipped and to reduce the amount of time spent on seal discrepancies.  Effective immediately we will require only one seal on your container that is being exported out of the United States.  Your seal must contain a unique series of numbers that will confirm the integrity of the sealed container.   This seal must be placed on the secure hasp located on the left hand locking bar on the right door of the container. Tropical Shipping has developed a program in which stickers have been placed all of our containers to indicate where to place your seal.

Tropical Shipping recommends that you use an ISO PAS 17712 certified seal.  If the container was not sealed to meet the above mentioned specifications, a ISO PAS 17712 certified seal will be placed on the container by Tropical Shipping.  In 2003, Tropical Shipping joined the efforts to protect the United States from terrorism by becoming a proud member the Custom-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).  Due to this commitment, any shipments loaded by Tropical Shipping or at a foreign port and are to be imported to the United States must be sealed with seal that meets all the criteria of ISO PAS 17712.
