Hurricane Irma Update 12 (Office and Vessel Schedules)

Hurricane Irma left a path of devastation in St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, St. Maarten, Anguilla, St. BarthsTurks and Caicos, and Freeport.

As the recovery continues, we want to make you aware of the following:  

Tuesday, September 12: 

·         Tropical Shipping offices in South Florida reopened this morning.

·         All offices in the islands are open, with the exception of Grand Turk and St John, USVI.

·         FEC Railroad resumed operations Tuesday am and the first Port of Palm Beach arrival from Jacksonville will be Thursday.

·         Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach will begin once the Coast Guard reopens the Port of Palm Beach to vessel traffic. Following are the planned sailings:  

 

Tuesday Sept 12

·         Coast Guard has not reopened the Port to Vessel Traffic

 

Wednesday Sept 13

·           Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·          Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau

·           Tropic Night will sail to Marsh Harbour and Providenciales

·           Vega Omega will sail to St Thomas and San Juan

 

Thursday Sept 14

·         Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·         Tropic Mist will sail to Grand Cayman

·         Tropic Sun will sail to St Thomas, St John, Tortola, St Maarten, Antigua, St Kitts, Nevis, and Dominica

 

Friday Sept 15

·         Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·         Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau

·         Tropic Carib will sail to St Croix, Anguilla, St Barths, Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, and Grenada

·         Tropic Opal will sail to Providenciales and Grand Turk  

 

Saturday Sept 16

·         Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

 

 Sunday Sept 17

·       Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau

 

 

Vessel Arrivals in the Islands this week

 

·         Tropic Lure is in Grand Cayman and will work this evening - as weather conditions improve.

·         Tropic Opal arrived Providenciales this morning.

·         Tropic Palm arrived St Thomas this morning from St Croix.

·         Tropic Tide arrived St. Thomas this afternoon. St Maarten, Antigua, St Kitts, Nevis, Dominica arrivals are delayed 72 hours this week.

·         Tropic Unity arrived St. Croix this afternoon. Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, Grenada arrivals are delayed 48 hours this week.

·         Tropic Palm arrives Anguilla and St Barths on Wednesday / Thursday from St Croix.

·         Tropic Express arrives Tortola Wednesday am and will be in Puerto Rico this Friday as usual.
