Hurricane Maria Update 3

Tropical Shipping is monitoring Hurricane Maria as it moves through the Leeward Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Turks & Caicos over the next few days.

Our first priority is the safety and well-being of our employees.

Following are our planned sailings from the Port of Palm Beach at this time – note that sailings from Wednesday thru week are subject to weather: 

Note the Bomar Rebecca arrival to Palm Beach from Halifax will be delayed at least 36 hours this week.

Tuesday Sept 19

  • Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport
  • Tropic Night will sail to Marsh Harbour
  • Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau
  • Katharina B will sail to Grand Cayman

Wednesday Sept 20

  • Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport
  • Tropic Lure will sail to Grand Turk and Puerto Plata – delayed arrival
  • Tropic Tide will sail to St Thomas, Tortola, St Maarten, Antigua, St Kitts, Nevis, and Dominica – delayed arrival

 

Thursday Sept 21

  • Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport
  • Tropic Mist will sail to Grand Cayman
  • Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau – Friday arrival subject to weather
  • Tropic Unity will sail to St. Croix, Anguilla, St Barths, Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, Guyana, Grenada – delayed arrival

Vessel Arrivals in the Islands this week 

  • Tropic Sun arrival in St Maarten, Antigua, Nevis, St Kitts and Dominica will be delayed this week.
  • Tropic Carib will arrive Barbados tonight.  St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, and Grenada arrivals are delayed 24 hours this week.
  • Tropic Palm arrival in Caucedo will be delayed.
  • Tropic Express arrival in Anguilla, St Barths, Tortola and San Juan will be delayed.
