Tropical Shipping Implements Tarp Surcharge for Carrier Owned open Top Containers Moving between the Continental United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico and All Ports; and between the Continental United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands

When a customer requests a tarp for an open top container, Tropical Shipping will provide the tarp at no additional charge. Upon completion of the shipment if the customer fails to return the tarp, or if the tarp is returned damaged or in otherwise unusable condition to Tropical with the return of the equipment, a surcharge will be applied to the bill to party for the tarp. 

Effective July 9, 2017, the following tarp surcharge will be applied for movements between the continental United States, Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. John, or St. Thomas and Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Canada, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Freeport, Grand Turk, Grenada, Guyana, Marsh Harbor Nassau, Nevis, Providenciales, South Caicos, St. Barths, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad or Virgin Gorda; or between the continental United States and St. Croix, St. John or St. Thomas when the tarp is not returned in useable condition:
