Hurricane Irma Update 10: Office and Vessel Schedule as of Monday, Sept 11

Hurricane Irma left a path of devastation in St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, St. Maarten, Anguilla, St. BarthsTurks and Caicos, and Freeport. We are happy to report all Tropical team members have been accounted for and we are working closely with them as they slowly recover from damages the hurricane inflicted. Damage assessmentare completed and recovery efforts are in full swing. At this time we want to make you aware of the following:

Tuesday, September 12: 

·        Tropical Shipping offices in South Florida reopen at 8:00 AM.

·       All offices in the islands are open, with the exception of Grand Turk and St John, USVI.

·       FEC Railroad plans to resume operations Tuesday am and the first Port of Palm Beach arrival from Jacksonville will be Thursday.

·        Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach will begin this week once the Coast Guard reopens the Port of Palm Beach to vessel traffic. Following are the planned sailings:  

 Tuesday Sept 12

·       Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·       Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau

 Wednesday Sept 13

·       Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·       Tropic Night will sail to Marsh Harbour and Providenciales

·       Vega Omega will sail to St Thomas and San Juan

 Thursday Sept 14

·       Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·       Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau

·       Tropic Mist will sail to Grand Cayman

·       Tropic Sun will sail to St Thomas, St John, Tortola, St Maarten, Antigua, St Kitts, Nevis, and Dominica

 Friday Sept 15

·       Tropic Jade will sail to Freeport

·       Tropic Carib will sail to St Croix, Anguilla, St Barths, Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, and Grenada

·       Tropic Opal will sail to Providenciales and Grand Turk  

 Saturday Sept 16

·       Caribe Legend will sail to Nassau

 

Vessel Arrivals in the Islands this week

 

·       Tropic Lure is in Grand Cayman and will work as weather conditions improve – probably tomorrow September 12.

·       Tropic Opal arrives Providenciales tomorrow, September 12.

·       Tropic Tide arrives St. Thomas tomorrow, Sept 12. St Maarten, Antigua, St Kitts, Nevis, Dominica arrivals are delayed 72 hours this week.

·       Tropic Unity arrives St. Croix tomorrow. Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent, Trinidad, Grenada arrivals are delayed 48 hours this week.

·       Tropic Palm arrives St Thomas tomorrow am from St Croix.  

·       Tropic Palm arrives Anguilla and St Barths on Wednesday / Thursday from St Croix.

·       Tropic Express arrives Tortola Wednesday am and will be in Puerto Rico this Friday as usual.
