Tropical Shipping continues to monitor and evaluate the global fuel markets on an ongoing basis. A recent increase in fuel price volatility has impacted our business. In order to continue to deliver the services our customers have come to expect, a bunker surcharge increase is now warranted.
The effective date for the bunker surcharge increase is May 27, 2018. The increased bunker surcharge amounts are as follows:
Between Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. John or St. Thomas and Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Freeport, Grand Turk, Grenada, Guyana, Marsh Harbour, Nassau, Nevis, Providenciales, South Caicos, St. Barths, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad and Tobago or Virgin Gorda;
Or between Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Freeport, Grand Turk, Grenada, Guyana, Marsh Harbour, Nassau, Nevis, Providenciales, South Caicos, St. Barths, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad and Tobago or Virgin Gorda.
