During this time of need, we have noticed an increase in the number of customers using online grocery/supply delivery services such as Instacart, Shipt and others to order Dry Cargo/Goods supplies. We are happy to work with convenient services like these to provide you with vital cargo, but we need your help to ensure it is shipped properly.
Items may only be sent to our Miami Receiving Facility.
Labeling your cargo correctly is essential to our process and ability to provide you with on-time, reliable deliveries. If you choose to use a third-party delivery service to drop groceries and supplies off at our warehouse on your behalf, please remember that the cargo needs to include the following required items:
- Final Destination Island
- Consignee/Customer Name
- TropBox Number (Don’t know yours? Learn more here.)
- Shipper’s Invoice or Receipts
When checking out with an Online Grocery/Delivery Service, please input your shipping information like the following example:
ABC Company or Individual Consignee Name
@ABCD.1234 (example TropBox #)
Destination Island (Your cargo’s final destination – ex. BAR for Barbados)
9505 NW 108th Avenue (Our warehouse address)
Miami, FL 33178
Most online delivery services do not provide necessary packaging material for cargo export. These items generally come to us loose or in plastic shopping bags. Due to this, we will gladly accept these on your behalf (if they meet the above address/labeling requirements) and carefully package them into cartons for you according to the below rates.
Packing Material and Packing Charges for this service are as follows:
- 12” x 12” x 12” Carton: $15 (excludes applicable freight charges)
- 16” x 16” x 16” Carton: $25 (excludes applicable freight charges)
- Anything larger would fall into an E-Container, D-Container or Barrel: Prices per tariff at time of shipment (please coordinate with Customer Service for assistance prior to ordering from Online Shopper)
Thank you for your cooperation. As a company, we are open and flexible to working with new methods that allow us to better serve our customers. Tropical Shipping is Committed to Island Life, and we are especially committed to getting essential cargo to you through all logistical means when possible.
We thank you for your patience during this difficult time. We will continue to monitor the developments on the outbreak of COVID-19 and will work closely with our customers, communities, and business leaders to ensure that we all do our part to win the fight against the novel coronavirus and emerge stronger than ever.
