In order to continue to provide the highest quality, on-time shipping services, effective September 05, 2021, Tropical Shipping will increase the Current Waiting Time Charge. Tropical will also establish an Inland Layover Charge effective September 19, 2021.

Layovers
Effective 09/19/2021, layovers must be pre-scheduled with the Tropical Shipping in advance. Customer must contact Tropical’s Customer Care Department to determine if layover charges will apply to a given route and to schedule the layover. Any stop that requires a driver to layover either by Customer's request or Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations will be charged $1,000.00.
