Due to the rising cost of pallets, including high demand, rising lumber costs and minimal repositioning of packaging materials due to strained trucking capacities, effective August 15, 2021, Tropical Shipping will be implementing a Pallet Charge for LCL Cargo Delivered to the LCL Terminal Facilities within the Continental United States.
Cargo delivered to Tropical Shipping’s LCL Terminal Facilities, within the Continental United States, must be palletized at the time of receipt. This per pallet charge will apply when cargo is delivered to our warehouse without a Shipper or Supplier provided pallet.
