Tropical Shipping Port of Palm Beach Operations Closure Tuesday September 27 2022

Tropical Shipping continues to monitor the passage of Hurricane Ian.

  • The United States Coast Guard has set the port condition to Yankee, ceasing all port operations in Fort Pierce and Palm Beach, as of 8:00 pm tonight, September 26, 2022.

     

  • The Port of Palm Beach Gate will be closed to all inbound and outbound traffic at 4:00 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.  As information is received from the Coast Guard based on conditions, we will provide regular updates to our gate activity.

     

  • All vessels scheduled to depart tomorrow, September 27, 2022, are anticipated to depart on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, or once given the all-clear to conduct operations in the Port of Palm Beach from the U.S. Coast Guard.

     

  • Cargo receiving locations inside the Port of Palm Beach including Auto/Vehicle Receiving, Flatrack Receiving and Customs Exam Station (CES) will close on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Condition Yankee for the Port of Palm Beach.

     

  • The Miami and West Palm Beach Warehouse Receiving locations for FCL Transload (TL) and Less than Containerload (LCL) cargo will continue to remain open with no changes to hours of service or operations.
