Our Story
In 1963, Tropical Shipping did what had never been done before – it committed to a set and dependable sailing schedule. Many thought we couldn’t do it, but we followed through, and 60 years ago the Tropic Ace made its maiden voyage to Freeport, Grand Bahamas. Tropical Shipping now serves more than 30 locations from Canada to the Caribbean and South America. We have invested in new equipment and larger, faster, and cleaner-fueled vessels to improve our service. It’s part our commitment to the region.
