Hurricane Milton - Update 6

Tropical Shipping continues to monitor the path and intensity of Hurricane Milton. 

 Please see the updates to Tropical Shipping’s operations for Thursday, October 10, 2024, as follows:

  • The Port of Palm Beach remains closed by order of the US Coast Guard.  Once the port re-opens, vessels will make their way into port and Tropical Shipping will commence operations. 
  • Dispatch is operational tomorrow for FCL dry pick-ups in Miami/Dade County only. No reefers.   
  • West Palm Beach LCL and transload warehouse, Port or Palm Beach Cold and Flat Rack receiving are closed tomorrow.  
  • Miami LCL receiving will be open from noon until 4:00 PM tomorrow. 
  • Customer Care will remain open, with regular business hours tomorrow. To expedite your cargo’s sailing please visit our website and use eServices to upload your cargo documentation. 
  • In Freeport and Marsh Harbour the offices, warehouses, and the ports will be closed tomorrow. 

We will continue to provide updates as Hurricane Milton continues to move through our service area. Tropical Shipping is ready to expedite your shipments to destination once Hurricane Milton passes. 

Please note that demurrage and detention charges are suspended during closure.
